Subject: Person of Interest Linked to Rumpelstiltskin Thu Feb 23, 2012 2:13 am
The subject of Rumpelstiltskin was introduced by Jem in the discussion about the similarities between the college library murders of Cheri Jo Bates and Betsy Aardsma (in the Theodore Kaczynski section).
One of the clues related to the murder of Betsy Aarsma was a message written on the arm of a wood chair (which is somewhat similar to the poem on the desk which may be linked to Cheri Jo Bates murder).
The message related to the Betsy Aardsma murder was:
HERE SAT DEATH IN THE GUISE OF A MAN RSK
It was explained that RSK could be a reference to Rumpelstiltskin.
Rumpel - Stilts - Kin = R S K
In the stories about Rumpelstiltskin, there are ideas which the Zodiac may have copied
For example:
For no one knows my little game, That Rumpelstiltskin is my name!
The name Rumpelstilzchen in German means literally "little rattle stilt".

All very interesting! Love your presentation of research, Ricardo! The poster ACitizen also posted here as DeplorableatBest. I just made them aware of your postings. I'm aware of their POI and some research...all very interesting. I hope DeplorableatBest signs on and tells us more........

My POI grew up in Johnstown, PA, worked as in illustrator in NYC after military service. At the time of the Z murders, he illustrated for a "book" with Manor in the title. One of the covers he illustrated shows a cemetary field with the Zodiac symbol dominating the forefront of the artwork, as a gravestone.
